The Norse-Spanish company of Cartagenian origin Premium Golf Properties (PGP), specialised in the luxury holiday home and golf sector in the Spanish Mediterranean coast, has presented its residential offer in the Ixelles district in Brussels in a special event targeted towards Belgian citizens. The Belgian company BlueSky Inmo has been chosen by PGP to commercialise its luxury properties from 22nd to 24thFebruary. The event was opened to the public and counted with flamenco performances and a legal advice conference on property purchase in Spain, titled ’10 reasons to purchase’.

PGP, located in San Javier and chaired by the Cartagenian Enrique Martínez Bel, showed its apartments and villas built next to the seaside in exclusive residential and golf complexes in the Costa Cálida  and Costa del Sol areas. These Spanish coastal areas are being increasingly chosen by Belgian citizens looking for a holiday home in the Mediterranean according to 2018 official statistics researched by West Vlaams Economisch Studie Bureau on behalf of the Spanish Tourism Institute (Turespaña), an arm of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. The same report places Spain as one of the preferred countries for Belgian citizens to spend long-stay holidays.

The conference on legal advice ’10 reasons to purchase’ was imparted by experts of the legal firm Sun Lawyers who thoroughly explained the steps to follow when purchasing property in Spain. Leisure was also presented during the event with a vibrant display of tradition and Mediterranean culture in the shape of two performances of flamenco art organised by the tourist company Mediterranean Unique Experience, specialised in cultural, gastronomic and city tourism.

The excellent weather, the unbeatable beaches, the friendly environment, the superb gastronomy or the comfortable accommodation are just a few of the main motivations that lead more and more Belgian citizens to choose Spain as a holiday destination. These very same reasons prompted a 2% boost in the number of Belgian tourists visiting Spain in 2018. Tourism is one of the key factors that make Spain one of the ten most influential partners for Belgium allowing for a gradual increase in the number of Spanish companies expanding their business to Belgium.
